The better choice depends on map geometry, team composition, fight tempo, and whether the anchor partner already provides value on their own. Blade of Khonshu

Blade of Khonshu, anchored by Moon Knight, gives Blade a very specific tactical route: Perform a heavy forward cleave with the Ancestral Sword while performing a short dash. At the end of the dash, swiftly slash four times, each strike sending a Darkmoon Blade forward. When a Darkmoon Blade hits an enemy, it bounces to nearby targets. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. Extra mobility changes positioning and escape routes, making the option strongest when used proactively rather than as a late panic button. Area pressure makes it especially useful around objectives, doorways, and clustered teams; spread-out fights reduce that advantage. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Blade to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Moon Knight, each Whirlwind Slash triggered generates one additional Darkmoon Blade. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Moon Knight has to justify the team slot.

Bleed For Battle, anchored by Captain America, gives Blade a very specific tactical route: For every set amount of damage taken, Blade builds a stack of Bloodline Awakening. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. The direct offensive payoff is easy to understand, but it is only decisive when the team can safely maintain pressure. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Blade to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Captain America, taking critical damage instantly triggers the Bloodline Awakening state, gaining bonus stacks while raising the overall stack cap. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Captain America has to justify the team slot.
