Hel-Yeah, Honey

Receive upgrades from Hel, allowing the Desert Eagles or Katanas to be upgraded one additional time. Hel-Yeah Desert Eagles: Duelist and Vanguard gain pierce, and the thought bubbles transform into homing death-rattle bubbles. Strategist death-rattle bubbles also home in on allies, exploding to provide healing. Hel-Yeah Katanas: Every strike injects undead energy into the enemy. Hitting an enemy three times with the Katanas detonates the energy, dealing percentage-based true damage scaling off their max Health.

Team-Up analysis

Strengths, tradeoffs, and ideal situations for each option.

Deadpool (Duelist) is not simply choosing between two bonuses: Gumbo Chimichangas and Hel-Yeah, Honey push the kit toward different priorities. The better choice depends on map geometry, team composition, fight tempo, and whether the anchor partner already provides value on their own. The analysis below weighs both the base effect and Enhanced ceiling without treating a situational advantage as a universal answer.

OPTION 1

Gumbo Chimichangas

ANCHOR · Gambit

Gumbo Chimichangas, anchored by Gambit, gives Deadpool (Duelist) a very specific tactical route: Activate for kinetic energy, propelling Deadpool in a forward leap. Upon landing, he scatters a ring of kinetically charged chimichangas that deal damage to enemies. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. Extra mobility changes positioning and escape routes, making the option strongest when used proactively rather than as a late panic button. Its control utility can create a clean focus-fire opportunity, but coordinated teammates are needed to fully convert that opening. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Deadpool (Duelist) to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Gambit, the kinetic energy causes Deadpool’s landing to inflict a Stun effect on enemies in the blast radius. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Gambit has to justify the team slot.

OPTION 2

Hel-Yeah, Honey

ANCHOR · Hela

Hel-Yeah, Honey, anchored by Hela, gives Deadpool (Duelist) a very specific tactical route: Receive upgrades from Hel, allowing the Desert Eagles or Katanas to be upgraded one additional time. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. Its sustain component has value in extended fights, but loses impact when allies cannot survive the initial burst. Area pressure makes it especially useful around objectives, doorways, and clustered teams; spread-out fights reduce that advantage. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Deadpool (Duelist) to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Hela, BOTH the Desert Eagles and Katanas can be upgraded one extra time. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Hela has to justify the team slot.
