OPTION 1Light & Dark Darts
ANCHOR · Cloak & DaggerLight & Dark Darts, anchored by Cloak & Dagger, gives Psylocke a very specific tactical route: Unleash a ring of Light Darts in all directions that damage enemies and restore Psylocke’s Health upon impact, leaving behind a Shadow Domain. Staying inside the domain for a short time will re-enter Stealth. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. Its sustain component has value in extended fights, but loses impact when allies cannot survive the initial burst. Area pressure makes it especially useful around objectives, doorways, and clustered teams; spread-out fights reduce that advantage. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Psylocke to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Cloak & Dagger, the radius of the Shadow Domain expands, and each time re-entering Stealth, the Light Darts are fired in all directions again. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Cloak & Dagger has to justify the team slot.
OPTION 2Mental Projection
ANCHOR · Emma FrostMental Projection, anchored by Emma Frost, gives Psylocke a very specific tactical route: Create an illusory projection that automatically dashes forward to use Psi-Blade Dash, while Psylocke enters Stealth. If Psylocke attacks, the illusion mimics her strikes. As a Duelist, it should be judged by how consistently it converts an opening into pressure, damage, or a secured elimination. Extra mobility changes positioning and escape routes, making the option strongest when used proactively rather than as a late panic button. The direct offensive payoff is easy to understand, but it is only decisive when the team can safely maintain pressure. In practice, this option is best when the composition can play around that condition and reproduce it reliably. Its weakness appears when the fight forces Psylocke to react outside that plan, because part of the value is tied to a particular window, position, or interaction. With the Enhanced effect active, when teaming up with Emma Frost, Psylocke’s mental powers are elevated, allowing her to reactivate the ability to instantly swap places with her illusion. That raises the option's ceiling, but it also means the composition with Emma Frost has to justify the team slot.
